Kho Liang Ie Pair of Lounge Chairs 656 + Coffee Table Artifort 1970
Fantastic pair of lounge chairs, model 656, designed by Kho Liang Ie in 1970 for Artifort. The matching coffee table comes with it.
Very rare set, especially together with this coffee table. This chair is also shown on the cover of the book about Kho Liang Ie by Ineke van Ginneke.
The chairs are a few years ago reupholstered with a black boucle fabric. The perspex top of the coffee table is renewed.
The chairs have a chromed metal frame and wired metal seat and backrest.
The set is in very good condition. Only little traces of use. 1 chair has a few loose welding points on the side of the seat, as you can see on the last picture. This won't be a problem for using the chair.
