Poul Kjaerholm PK61 Slate Coffee Table E. Kold Christensen 1956
Iconic coffee table, model PK61, designed by Poul Kjaerholm in 1956 for E. Kold Christensen.
It is marked with the EKC logo impressed on the frame.
This table was created to complement the famous PK22 lounge chairs (we also have a pair in stock) and was one of his most elementary designs.
It has a matt chrome plated frame and a beautiful black slate top. The legs extends above the horizontal bars to hold the top in position.
The top itself measures 0,795 x 0,795.
Beautiful minimalist table.
The frame is in very good original condition with only little wear. The slate top has some imperfections at the bottom side, as visible on the last 3 pictures. On the last picture we turned the top.
According to the previous owner, who was also the only owner, it was already like this when they bought the table in the 1970s. The rest of the table top is very good and beautiful.
