WIM RIETVELD PAIR OF EASY CHAIRS 1401 GISPEN 1954

Pair of easy chairs, model 1401, designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954 for Gispen.
The chairs are newly reupholstered with the original dead stock De Ploeg dark grey fabric. This fabric was used by Gispen back in the day. Also the foam is renewed.
Classic Dutch design.
The chairs are made of black sheet steel seat and backrest and have black metal legs and black bakelite armrests.
They are in excellent condition.
