GIJS BAKKER SEATBELT ARMCHAIR CASTELIJN 1978

Rare 'seatbelt' armchair designed by Gijs Bakker in 1978 for Castelijn.
Not many of these were produced, it was only in production for a very short period. Collectible item.
There were different models in this series: dining chairs and lounge chairs with and without armrests. This one is a dining chair or side chair with armrests.
It has an ash wood frame and black nylon seatbelt straps seat and backrest.
The chair is in good original condition, some normal traces of use.
