Mart van Schijndel Pair of Fulfil Dining Chairs Lensvelt 1989

Pair of dining chairs, model Fulfil, designed by architect and designer Mart van Schijndel in 1989 and manufactured by Lensvelt.
Originally designed in 1989 as a result of a competition for stackable chairs, the chair was taken into production by Lensvelt in 1996. It is only produced in very small numbers and therefore quite rare. The original intention was to cut the chair from a single sheet of aluminium with a special alloy. This turned out to be too complicated, that's why Lensvelt decided to construct the chair form several parts. To the eye, however, the chair still seems to be folded from one sheet of aluminium.
They were made in red, blue, purple and grey. These are the blue ones. They are stackable.
The chairs are in good original condition with some normal traces of use.
