Postmodern table lamp designed by the famous architect Mario Botta in 1986 for Artemide Italy.
It has a cylindrical base coated in black and white stripes. The two white perforated semi-circled shades can be adjusted to create variations of light partition and direction. It gives fantastic patterns on the wall when lit.
This stunning lamp is part of the design collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
The lamp is in excellent condition.
