PASTOE OR METALUX SEWING STAND CEES BRAAKMAN OR JOOS TEDERS DUTCH 50s
A very rare sewing stand, beautiful minimalistic Dutch design from the 50s. I've never seen this one before, but most likely designed by Joos Teders or Cees Braakman who made better known versions. But this one is for me by far the nicest. Lacquered wooden baskets, 1 in light yellow, 1 in soft red and 1 in grey, very nice combination. Black enamelled metal stand and base. This you will not come across more as soon. In very good original condition with little wear on the base.
