MATHIEU MATEGOT COAT RACK ARTIMETA 1956
Very rare coat rack designed by Mathieu Mategot in 1956 for Artimeta.
Mategot designed some items in the 50s for Artimeta, that were just released in the Netherlands in small quantities. These items are rare in the Netherlands and ultra rare outside the Netherlands. See also the picture from the Artimeta 50s catalogue which features this coat rack.
This coat rack was made in 2 verssions, this is the large one which is even more rare. It has a black enameled frame and hooks and yellow perforated metal hatshelf.
The coat rack is in good original condition with some usermarks; little laquer damage on the shelf and some loss of laquer on the hooks.
