Mario Ceroli Pair of Fratina Chairs Poltronova Italy 1972

Pair of Fratina high chairs, designed by architect Mario Ceroli in 1972 and manufactured by Poltronova Italy.
Both chairs are marked at the side.
The chair is Ceroli's three-dimensional interpretation of 'Mobili Nella Valle', a painting by the famous Giorgio de Chirico.
Fantastic chairs.
They are made of solid Russian pine wood.
The 'Sedia Alta' (High Chair) is exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts in Rome and in the hall in front of the balcony of Rome and Juliet in Verona.
The chairs are in very good original condition with a lovely patine. One chair has a superficial tear (not all through) at the backside, as visible in the second-last photo.
