Mies van der Rohe Set of 6 MR10 Chairs Knoll 1980s
Set of 6 MR10 chairs designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1927 at the Bauhaus in Germany.
Beautiful chairs, a timeless icon of 20th-century modernism.
This particular set comes from an Italian household full of design furniture. The chairs are made in the 1980s and produced by Knoll. The chairs are not marked. Besides that the previous owner told us the chairs are by Knoll, we can identify them by their product quality and the details like the lacing and the little welded hook that prevents the leather backrest from sliding down.
The chairs have a chrome-plated steel tubular frame and black leather seats and backrests, attached by laces underneath the seats and behind the backrests.
Fantastic chairs, perfectly balanced.
The chairs are in good original condition with some traces of wear due to time and usage. The leather is still very good. 1 chair has a tiny damage on the seating. 2 chairs have some loss of chrome at the bottom side and 2 chairs (of which 1 is the same as the other 2) has a little loss of chrome on the top of the frame.
