Set of 4 dining chairs, model 79, designed by Niels Otto Moller in 1966 for J.L. Mollers Mobelfabrik Denmark. The chairs are marked underneath the seats.
Executed in the most exclusive version with solid rosewood frames and cognac leather upholstery.
The chairs come from the executive board room of the Dutch Bank (DNB). They were in use there until the early 1990s and were taken over by a bank employee, from whom we acquired them.
The rosewood has a beautiful grain and the cognac leather, which is still original, fits perfectly with it.
Superb craftsmanship and a very elegant design with attention to detail.
The chairs are in good original condition. The rosewood is still very nice, the leather has a lovely patine. No damages, no craquelure. Some normal traces of use.
