Fantastic dining set designed by Olavi Hanninen in the 1960s for Mikko Nupponen Finland.
The set consist of 6 T-chairs and a large dining table. All in stained elm wood.
Sculptural design and crafted by hand. Brutalist but on the same hand minimalist.
The finnish designer and interior architect designed not only furniture but also public facilities, church decorations and trams. In 1957 he received the gold medal at the 11th Milan Triennale and in 1977 he received the 'State of Finland Award for Industrial Design.
The set is in very good condition. 1 chair had a crack in a leg, but this is repaired (last picture).
