Riccardo Blumer Set of 6 Laleggera Stacking Chairs Alias Italy 1993

Set of 6 Laleggera chairs designed by Riccardo Blumer in 1993 for Alias Italy.
This chair is the expression of research and technology at its maximum. The result of combining solid wood with the lightest expanded polyurethane, injected in the structure.
This makes the chair very light, only 2,5 kg each. That's where this chair get the name from, the legendary Leggera chair by Gio Ponti.
The outer shell is in walnut feneer. The chairs are stackable.
Fantastic chairs, very functional and good looking as well.
The design won ADI Compasso d'Oro in 1998 and the chair is also part of the collection of thge MoMa in New York.
The chairs are in very good original condition. Lust little traces of use. 1 chair has a tiny dent on the seat as you can see on the picture.
