Elda chair designed by Joe Colombo in 1963 for Comfort Italy.
This is one of Colombo's first furniture designed and named after his wife Elda. With this chair Colombo was adapting modern plastics technology to the traditional wing armchair form.
Original black leather and a white self-supporting fiberglass reinforced polyester frame. Its sausage like cushions, rotating base and generous proportions provide a great comfort.
Iconic chair, a true design classic.
The chair is in excellent condition. Only minimal traces of wear.
