Dieter Rams Model 620 Lounge Chair + Ottoman Vitsoe 1962
Nice lounge chair + ottoman, from the 620 Series, designed by Dieter Rams for Vitsoe in 1962.
The cushions are covered with soft high-quality black leather (still original) and are filled with down. The scales are made of metal with a black polyester coating. They have castors underneath the scale.
Very comfortable seating.
The set is in good original condition. Some normal traces of use. No defects, no craquelure.
Dieter Rams is also known for his designs for Braun, where he was chief designer for many years. Many of his designs have become a source of inspiration for Apple. Ram's designs in the collections of many museums. He has received numerous international design awards during his career.
