Fantastic rocking chair designed by Goran Malmvall in the 1940s and manufactured by Karl Andersson & Soner Sweden. It as part of the Svensk Fur range.
This type of pine furniture became popular during the late 1930s and into the 1940s and were specifically designed for Swedish summer houses that increased in this period. Modernist design in traditional Swedish workmanship.
The chair is made of solid stained pine wood.It looks amazing and it is very well proportioned.
It is in good original condition with some normal traces of wear, which gives the chair a lovely patine.
