Josef Hoffmann Pair of Alleegasse Easy Chairs Wittmann Austria 1912
Pair of Alleegasse easy chairs designed by the well known modernist architect Josef Hoffmann in 1912.
The chairs were designed for Dr. Hugo Koller's music room as part of the furnishings for his Vienna apartment.
These chairs are a re-edition by Wittmann Austria under license of the Josef Hoffmann Foundation.
Classic chairs and high quality made.
They have a wooden frame and black stained birch legs. Most likely the funky upholstery is still original, it is sand/beige colored with pink, red and orange velvet dots on it.
The chairs are in very good condition, 1 chair has two very tiny stains on the seat (hardly visible).
