Martin Visser Pair of SZ34 Lounge Chairs 't Spectrum 1958
Very rare pair of lounge chairs, model SZ34 / Ijzendijke, designed by Martin Visser in 1958 for 't Spectrum.
They were in production form 1958 - 1961 and were one of the first lounge chairs Martin Visser designed for 't Spectrum. These are the first I've ever seen and also none to be found on the whole internet. Collectible set.
The chairs are reupholstered with a nice blue (with little brown) Ploegwol fabric (100% wool). Also the foam and the singles are renewed.
The chairs have a black squared steel frame.
They come from the TH (Technical University) in Eindhoven, the tag is still on it as you can see on picture.
The chairs are in excellent condition. Just minimal traces of wear on the frames.
