Fantastic lounge chair, model F157 or Oyster, designed by Pierre Paulin in 1960 for Artifort.
This chair is the large version that comes from the 1st edition with the nickel plated metal frame. These early versions were produced until 1979. In 1999 Artifort reissued this model, but in a smaller size and with a glossy chrome plated frame.
This chair is newly upholstered with a Kvadrat Hallingdal cream/grey fabric (70% wool, 30% viscose, design: Nana Ditzel).
Beautiful chair and very comfortable seating.
The chair is in excellent condition. Only little wear on the frame.
