Fantastic lounge chairs, model F157 or Oyster, designed by Pierre Paulin in 1960 for Artifort.
These chairs are the large version that come from the 1st edition with the nickel plated metal frame. These early versions were produced until 1979. In 1999 Artifort reissued this model, but in a smaller size and with a glossy chrome plated frame.
The chairs are newly upholstered with a beautiful grey/off white wool fabric by Bute Scotland.
Very comfortable seating.
The chairs are in excellent condition. Only little wear on the metal frames.
