ROB PARRY PAIR OF 1611 EASY CHAIRS GELDERLAND 1952

Pair of 1611 easy chairs designed by Rob Parry in 1952.
The chairs are newly upholstered with a blended brick wool De Ploeg fabric. Also the foam is renewed.
The frame is made of solid birch wood. Very comfortable seating.
Classic Dutch design icon. 
Before he started his own design studio he was working at Gerrit Rietveld's studio, who was his most important inspirator and teacher.
The chairs are in very good condition, just some normal traces of wear on the wooden frames.
