Robin Day Lounge Chair Hille U.K. 1952

Fantastic lounge chair designed by the British designer Robin Day in 1952 for Hille U.K.
This beautiful modernist reclining chair is recently reupholstered with an ivory boucle wool fabric. After that the chair is not used anymore.
It has a grey minimalist steel frame and wide floating teak armrests, that provide place for books or drinks. Besides that these distinctive armrests are looking great.
The nicely angled seat is very comfortable.
Robin Day himself considered this chair to be one of his most succesfull designs.
The chair is in excellent condition. Just little wear on the frame.
