Takeshi Nii Chaise Longue Model NY Japan 1958

Fantastic chaise longue, model NY, designed by Takeshi Nii in 1958 Japan.
He designed different models in this series; a lounge chair, a rocking chair and this chaise longue. The chaise longue is the rarest one.
The design has won numerous awards and became part of the permanent collection of the MoMa in 1970. Simple, beautiful and functional design.
This chaise longue is in fully original condition. It has a chrome plated tubular frame, wooden armrests and an anthracite canvas sling seat. It still has the original NY sticker on it, which I've never seen before.
It is in good condition with some traces of use due to time and usage The canvas is undamaged and in good shape, but has a few stains and some discoloration due to sunlight. The frame has some wear as well. All normal for its age..
