Teppo Asikainen & Ilkka Terho Chip Lounger Snowcrash 1996
Rare rocking lounge chair, called Chip, designed by Teppo Asikainen & Ilkka Terho in 1996 for Snowcrash.
The designers are part of the Valvomo Design Studio, a collective of architects and designers that is well known in Europe. In addition to various types of furniture and lamps, the array of works stretches out into the field of architecture. Always innovative and often humorous.
The Chip lounger is a fantastic object that is surprisingly very comfortable as well. A slight change of balance makes it swing softly. Underneath there is a polyurethane cushion to smoothen the movement.
It is made of formpressed plywood and painted in silver (original).
It was only sold for a short nperiod and is no longer in production.
A very nice eye catcher in your home or office.
The lounger is in very good original condition, only little traces of use.
