W.H. GISPEN SET OF 2 LOUNGE CHAIRS KEMBO 1950s
Fantastic pair of lounge chairs designed by W.H. Gispen in the 1950s for Kembo. He was one of the founders of Kembo when he left his own company Gispen in 1953.
The chairs are fully restored: newly reupholstered with Kvadrat Tonica wool fabric in a nice mele mustard/olive color, new foam, the frames are repainted and the teak wooden armrests are refinished.
Very comfortable seating.
The chairs are in excellent condition, as new. There's a little difference in the angle of the armrests as you can see on the pictures 4 + 10. This is only visible when the chairs are standing closely next to eachother.
