WILLY GUHL A PAIR OF LOOP LOUNGE CHAIRS ETERNIT SA 1954

Fantastic set of 'Loop' chairs designed by Willy Guhl in 1954 for Eternit SA in Switzerland. 
This iconic design gained the 'Die Gute Form' price in 1955.
The chairs are made of a single band of fiber reinforced cement, which is very strong. They are designed for outdoor use and are absolutely weatherproof, but when cleaned they will look good indoor as well. This is a newer version (asbestos free) that Willy Guhl made in 1997. It went in production at Eternit in 1999.
The chairs are in very good original condition with a nice patina, no damages, no cracks.
