NEW UPHOLSTERY

A pair of Gispen 1407 easy chairs, designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954.
This is the larger version of the more common Gispen 1401 chair. The 1407 is 5 cm larger and deeper. Besides that the back is upholstered in contrast to the 1401, where the plate steel back is visible.
The chairs are reupholstered with a beautiful green colored fabric. Also the foam is renewed.
The chairs have black metal legs and black bakelite armrests.
The chairs are in excellent condition, only have very little wear on the frames.
