Wim Rietveld Pair of 1401 Easy Chairs Gispen 1954
Pair of easy chairs, model 1401, designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954 for Gispen.
The chairs are newly reupholstered with a black/grey Kvadrat Hallingdal fabric (70% wool, 30% viscose). Also the foam is renewed.
Classic Dutch design.
The chairs are made of black sheet steel seat and backrest and have black metal legs and black bakelite armrests.
They are in excellent condition. Minimal wear on the frame.
