YRJO WIHERHEIMO & RUDI MERZ PAIR OF LOUNGE CHAIRS FINLAND 1970

Ultra rare modernist lounge chairs designed by architect and designer Yrjo Wiherheimo and Rudi Merz in 1970 for Korkeakosko in Finland.
Fantastic chairs with an amazing shape. 
They have a beech wood frame and black lacquered wooden seat and backrest. There's no glue used to assemble these chairs.
These are the only ones for sale on the whole internet, very unique chairs.
The chairs are in good condition with some normal traces of wear due ti time and usage. 1 chair has a professionally repaired damage at the bottom of a leg (picture 11).
