Achille Castiglioni Set of 3 Sella Stools Zanotta 1957
Set of 3 Sella rocking stools designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1957.
The stool was edited by Zanotta in 1983.
Originally it was designed for the 'Colors and Forms in Today Home' exhibition in Como Italy 1957.
Iconic design classic that's part of the collection of many museums worldwide.
Very playful design and clearly inspired by the Ready Made's of Marcel Duchamp.
They have a black leather Brooks racing cycling saddle, a pink (like the shirt-color of the winner of the Giro Italia) lacquered steel stem and a heavy round black cast iron base.
The seat is adjustable in height.
The stools are in very good original condition. Minimal traces of use.
