Famous sleeper sofa designed by Martin Visser in 1961 for 't Spectrum.
The sofa is recently reupholstered with a nice blue/green blended Kvadrat Hallingdal (70% wool, 30% viscose, design by Nana Ditzel). Also the foam was renewed.
This version with armrests is quite rare. It was in production from 1961 till 1969.
It has a squared black metal frame.
By easily pulling the seat the regular sofa turns into a sleeper sofa (see pictures 7 and 8).
Beautiful Dutch design icon.
The sofa is in very good condition, only minimal traces of wear.
