Martin Visser BR35/Sliedrecht Sleeping Sofa 't Spectrum 1958
Early sleeping sofa, model BR35/ Sliedrecht, designed by Martin Visser in 1958 for 't Spectrum.
This model was only in production for 2 years and is rarely offered.
The sofa is newly upholstered with a beautiful greyish blue wool fabric by De Ploeg. Also the foam and the singles are renewed.
These early editions can be recognized by the chain mechanism to turn the backrest backwards to get the straight sleeping bed. Very sophisticated design.
This model with the armrests is even more rare.
It has a black metal frame.
The sofa is in excellent condition.
