Beautiful sleeper sofa, model Doublet, designed by Rob Parry (attrib.) at the end of the 1950s, early 1960s for Gelderland.
This model was only in production for 1 year, so very rare and not offered a lot.
The sofa is reupholstered with a emerald green wool fabric by De Ploeg. Also the foam is renewed.
Unlike most of the Dutch vintage sleeper sofas that have a metal frame this model has a solid teak wood frame.
By easily pulling the seat you will get a sleeping bed.
The sofa is in very good condition. Just some imperfections on the teak frame, which is not visible when in use.
