ROB PARRY DOUBLET SLEEPER SOFA GELDERLAND 1958

Beautiful sleeper sofa, model Doublet, designed by Rob Parry in 1958 for Gelderland.
This model was only in production for 1 year, so very rare and not offered a lot.
Unlike most of the Dutch vintage sleeper sofas that have a metal frame this model has a complete teak wood frame including nice teak armrests.
The olive green wool fabric is still original, unfortunately it has 2 small stains on the seating as you can see on the pictures. Except for these stains it is still in very good condition. The foam is renewed.
By easily pulling the seat you will get a sleeping bed.
The teak frame is still good with little traces of use.
