FRISTHO WALNUT SIDEBOARD WILLIAM WATTING 1955
Fantastic Fristho walnut sideboard, designed by the Danish William Watting in 1955. He started the Scandinavian influence at Fristho Franeker with his 'Modern Art' collection, where this sideboard is part of. All in walnut wood with brass and raffia (palm plant) accents. On the left 4 drawers, in the middle 2 sliding doors covered with raffia and on the right 1 door. Very high quality sideboard. His designs were in production till 1961, so they are quite rare nowadays. In very good condition, some wear on the brass legs. The handgrip on the right door is professionally restored.
