CONSTANT NIEUWENHUIJS WALL SHELF ASMETA 1954
Very rare wall mounted sheet metal shelf designed by the famous artist Constant Nieuwenhuijs around 1954 for Asmeta.
These shelves were only made for a short period in very small quantities.
According to the Constant Foundation these shelves were designed for the exhibition 'Ons huis ons Thuis'. Rietveld and Constant created a design suggestion for an appartment during this exhibition.
It is made of red metal.
Very collectable item.
The shelf is in good original condition. Some normal traces of wear. On the left side some discoloration due to sunlight.
