ELMAR BERKOVICH COFFEE TABLE METZ & CO 1930s

Very rare coffee table designed by Elmar Berkovich for Metz & Co in the 1930s. 
Metz & Co was the leader in the Netherlands in the field of home furnishings and modern design. That time Berkovich was the head of the furniture division of this famous Metz & Co department stores in Holland.
This table was way ahead of its time when it was designed, minimalism and functionalism was not common in the 1930s.
It has a glass top. wooden bottom tray and white enameled tubular metal legs with wooden feet.
The table is in good condition. Minimal damage on the corners of the wooden bottom shelf.
