WIM RIETVELD 535 COFFEE TABLE GISPEN 1953

Beautiful coffee table, model 535 also known as the 'Mug' (Mosquito), designed by Wim Rietveld in 1953 for Gispen.
This model has a rare and fantastic color combination, a light grey metal frame and yellow metal bottom tray. The glass top is still original, which you can see on picture 7. That is not a damage, it is where they used to hang the glass to during production.
The table is in good original condition with little traces of wear. Some light scratches on the glass top and some wear on the yellow metal bottom tray.
