Result teacher's desk + matching Result chair designed by Friso Kramer in 1958 for Ahrend de Cirkel.
This desk is from the 1st edition with the nicely shaped feet.
These lovely desks are becoming increasingly rare. Especially together with the matching chair very hard to find.
It has a black lacquered steel frame and drawer. The top of the desk is of formica. Two original keys to lock the drawer are still with it.
Also the chair is from the 1st edition. It has a black steel frame and a beech plywood seat and backrest.
The desk won, like a lot of Friso Kramer's designs, a Signe d'Or for its functionalism and design.
A unique and beautiful set.
Both are in good original condition. Just some normal wear on the metal frames. The top of the desk and the seat and backrest of the chair are excellent.
