Result Teacher's desk designed by Friso Kramer in 1958 for Ahrend de Cirkel.
It is marked with the original label: Ahrend de Cirkel 25 jan 1962.
This one is from the 1st edition with the nicely shaped feet.
These lovely desks are becoming increasingly rare.
It has a heavy green, that I have never seen before, lacquered steel frame and drawer. The top of the desk is of formica.
The desk won, like a lot of Friso Kramer's designs, a Signe d'Or for its functionalism and design.
It is in good original condition. Some wear consistent with time and usage.
