Drafting table + matching working chair designed by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld in 1963 for Ahrend de Cirkel. The chair is designed by Friso Kramer.
The table is adjustable in numerous positions using an ingenious system with only 2 screws on the side. The table won a Signe d'Or in Bruxelles in 1963 for its amazing user friendly design.
The chair swivels, is adjustable in height and the backrest is adjustable as well.
Both have a black metal frame, which is much more rare than the grey version. Possibly the frame of the table is partly repainted. When so it is done very well. The chair for sure is in original condition.
The set is in good condition with some wear. Both are in good working order.
