BORGE MOGENSEN SHAKER DINING TABLE 6286 FREDERICIA 1964

Shaker dining table, model 6286, designed by Borge Mogensen in 1964 for Fredericia Stolefabrik Denmark. The table is marked with the original Fredericia labels.
The design is inspired by the American Shaker Movement. It is a modified and minimalist version of the classic Shaker trestle table.
It has a solid oak wood frame and the top is made of solid oak planks.
The top is refinished.
Very nice, clean and elegant table.
It is in excellent condition, only minimal traces of use on the frame.
