Marcel Breuer Dining Table Isokon 1936/2006

Beautiful dining table designed by Marcel Breuer in 1936 for Isokon Plus.
This table was one of a number of plywood designs that Breuer created for Isokon through the 30s.
It was originally used in the Isobar Restaurant and Club at the Lawn Road Flats in Hampstead (where Breuer lived among other Bauhaus emigres) paired with the Isokon Stool.
The table is now considered a modernist classic.
It is made of birch plywood and it is extremely light, yet strong and can easily be moved single-handed.
This particular table was bought in 2006 and is in this size not in production anymore.
The table is in very good condition.  One tiny veneer repair on the top, which is visible in the last picture.

This product is SOLD.
