ARNOLD BUENO DE MESQUITA SIDE TABLE DUTCH 50s 

Beautiful side table, designed by Arnold Bueno de Mesquita for Spurs in the 50s. De Mesquita was one of the initiators of the Dutch 'Goed Wonen' Foundation in 1946, who promoted the new modern way of home furnishing. Very nice clean design with red enamelled metal frame and 'clouded' glass top. This red version is rare, most of these tables are in black. In vintage condition, some lacquer damages on the frame and 1 very small chip on the side of the glass top. Still a lovely table. Rare!
