Cees Braakman DU03 Sideboard Japanese Series Pastoe 1958
Minimalist sideboard, model DU03, designed by Cees Braakman in 1958 for Pastoe.
This model is the most attractive of the well known 'Japanese Series' and is a true icon of Dutch Mid-century Modern design. Highly sought after and getting increasingly rare.
It is marked on the inside with the original Pastoe label.
Clean lines and the minimal black metal base gives it a floating appearance.
It is made of teak wood with beautiful black plastic handles and a black metal base. It has 4 doors with a shelf behind and on the right 4 drawers.
The sideboard is in very good condition. No damages. It is completely refinished. The sides and fron is looking great. The top still has some slight traces of use, as you can see on the pictures. Nothing to be worried about.
