Friso Kramer Reiger Drafting Table + Working Chair Ahrend de Cirkel 1963
Unique drafting table, called 'Reiger' (Heron) + working chair designed by Friso Kramer in 1963 for Ahrend de Cirkel.
Unlike the well known drafting table by Friso Kramer this model is rarely offered.
These tables were used in schools. One foot of the tripod base is shorter, this was very clever for stocking as it can be slided under another. It would only take 18cm space per 2nd, 3rd table and so on.
It can be adjusted in different positions and the height is adjustable as well.
The chair is adjustable in height and the back is adjustable as well. The backrest is flexible. It has a teak plywood seat and backrest.
Both the table and chair have a black metal frame, which is more rare than the usual grey frames.
The dimensions of the table you can find on the right side. The dimensions of the chair are:
w: 0,39 ; d: 0,48-0,53 ; h: 0,78-0,98 ; seat h: 0,42-0,62
The table as well as the chair are in good condition. Some normal wear on the frames.
