Rare 1st edition Visor wall lamp, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 and manufactured by Louis Poulsen Denmark.
Originally this lamp was designed for the Royal SAS Hotel in Copenhagen.
Very nice and elegant lamp.
This is the largest version and it is made of dark brown/grey metal and still has its original lacquer. These early editions can be recognized by the thin wall plate and the bakelite socket.
The spot can be rotated 90 degrees.
The lamp is in excellent and original condition, only minimal traces of use.
