Pair of Tonietta chairs + Trevi side table, designed by Enzo Mari in 1985 for Zanotta Italy.
The chairs and table are marked with the original Zanotta label underneath the seats and tabletop.
The design process took about four years, as it was technically challenging with different materials as die-cast aluminum.
The chairs and table have a very elegant polished aluminum alloy frame. The chairs have a seat and back in polypropylene covered in off-white/cream leather. The table has a white trespa top.
Nice set together with the table, which is quite rare.
The diameter of the table is 53cm and the height is 70cm.
The design won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro Award in 1987 and it is included in the collection of major museums like the MoMA in New York.
The set is in good original condition. The frames are excellent. Some color difference between the leather and the tabletop.
