Very rare chair, model 9507/10, designed by Friso Kramer & Jaap Penraat in 1953 for Ahrend de Cirkel.
Not many of these are around. This chair in completely original condition is an interesting chair for the collector or even museums.
The chair was designed in the same year Friso Kramer designed his famous Revolt chair.
It is also shown in the classic book about Dutch chairs: 'Stoelen, Nederlandse ontwerpen 1945-1985', by Peter Voge and Bab Westerveld. And it is part of the collection of the Museum Boymans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam.
It has a grey tubular steel frame and still the original green De Ploeg upholstery.
The chair is in good original condition. Just some loss of lacquer on the frame, which gives the chair a nice patine.
