Very rare pair of theatre Revolt folding chairs designed by Friso Kramer in 1953 for Ahrend de Cirkel.
These chairs were made for theatres in small quantities for a short period of time. And therefore collectible items.
The seats are foldable and the chairs can be linked to eachother by a chromed metal tube. Technically very well done.
They have a red/salmon ciranol seat and backrest and a black steel frame.
Fantastic chairs and hard to find.
The chairs are in very good condition. Just little traces of use. The red color of 1 of the chairs is a bit lighter than the other one.
